I like "thoroughly impressed by" as a barometer. Honestly, I'm not sure I'm blown away by that percentage of published books, either.
I meet some writers who don't take the time to rewrite and revise at all, while others try, but they can't quite pinpoint their own weaknesses. I do hope my book helps indie writers with both elements.
Nice. I’m in the northern suburbs of Denver, near Thornton.
Congrats on getting it this far! I was just making an attempt at humor. I wasn’t trying to rush you. Just wanted to say that it sounds very interesting and I will plan on ordering a copy whenever it’s available.
I'm glad you're excited. I am, too. Delaying the launch even this long has been painful. But covers take time. I knew that, but still waited to get one made. Haha
Thornton...does that make I Want More Comics or JNJ your local comic shop? I lived in Denver long ago, back when Mile High had shops around the city.
I’ve never actually been to JNJ even though it’s closer. It was closed and IWMC was open the first time I went out and a pattern was established. I should rectify that. Have you been to both?
Look forward to your book!
Glad to hear. It’s taken me so long to get it ready, and I’m champing at the bit to share it.
This book sounds excellent.
I agree with your informal poll.
I buy a lot of indie comics and back crowdfunded books but only really enjoy *and am thoroughly impressed by* only around 30%.
I think this will be an invaluable guide. I'll be backing! Although I do have to be wary of postage costs as I'm across the pond.

This sounds like exactly what I need. Can I buy it now? Haha.
Also a nice surprise to see you’re based in Colorado. I’m just north of Denver.
How far north? I'm up in Fort Collins.
And I'm sending the book to printers next week for a proof, so I'm getting closer.

It’s a quality cover and I’m sure worth the wait.

Never been to JNJ. And it's been years since I went to IWMC.
